Hello everyone, I'm a complete novice at this blogging business, so fingers crossed that I can actually manage it.

Avner continues to be very fragile and weak, he needs help with almost everything now and gets quite confused and anxious. He asked for a newspaper today that we eventually worked out was a regional Tasmanian paper, but to him it was his local paper.
He is getting medication through a syringe driver leading into his arm - it contains a mixture of pain killers, relaxants and anti-hallucination medication. His routine medication  also includes some tablets and a medicated wafer to put under his tongue. Today wasn't such a good day, so he needed extra pain-killers (break-through) to take the edge of the pain. If he doesn't move the pain is manageable but once he does it spikes up....zero is no pain, ten is the highest pain - today at one stage it reached nine.
